Straw hat, "Maudette," sold at Hetrick Hat Shop in Seattle, 1912

Maude Hetrick, owner of Hetrick Hat Shop, was in business from 1907-1935 in Seattle. This "Maudette" hat belonged to Nina Hartley, wife of Roland Hartley. Roland was the mayor of Everett from 1910-1911, a member of the Washington State House of Representatives from 1915-1916, and Washington State Governor from 1925-1933.
